Can Ronnie DeVoe make it as a solo act?

Let's face it, when it comes to incredible, soulful R&B singers ex-New Edition/Bel Biv DeVoe warbler Ronnie DeVoe is not on the list. However, he's proven he has a decent enough voice to sing adequate background, and his rapping skills, which are by no means impressive either, are nonetheless a sanctuary he can also rely on from time to time.

That said, we have surprising news that DeVoe is in the process of recording a solo album. Not that it's a good idea. But can you blame him for trying something, anything, except continuing the fiasco that was last year's awful New Edition reunion album and trouble-plagued ...
