Collins busted on DUI charge
CHARLOTTE, Nov. 2 (UPI) _ Quarterback Kerry Collins may no longer ply
his trade in North Carolina's Queen City, but his troubles there
continue.
According to a spokeswoman for the police department in Charlotte,
Collins was arrested early this morning and charged with driving under
the influence. He was released after a $1,000 bond was waived and is
scheduled to appear in court Nov. 12.
Full details are pending but the spokeswoman does say the 25-year-old
Collins, who was in town with his new team, the New Orleans Saints, for
a game against his former Carolina Panther teammates earlier in the
day, was stopped shortly ...
