(Daily Targum) (U-WIRE) NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- Following a week of media speculation surrounding the future of Terry Shea as Rutgers head football coach, Athletics Director Robert Mulcahy offered a solid vote of confidence Tuesday. He told members of the media that Shea will be the coach at Rutgers for at least the remainder of the season.
"My respect for Terry Shea has grown enormously as the season progressed in his ability to bounce back from adversity," Mulcahy said. "I saw how down he was after Syracuse, and yet he bounced back. And I really felt that was probably the toughest point of the season."
