LUSAKA, Dec. 4 (AIA/GIN) -- A Voluntary Counselling and Testing
(VCT) service has been introduced in 21 provincial and district
hospitals of Zambia.
VCT will be the major supplier of HIV test kits. Support
services will include free counselling and testing.
The program is being conducted under Bionor, the Norwegian
bio-technology company dealing in laboratory diagnostics, through
a phased decentralization of HIV testing and counselling project
at the University Teaching Hospital.
