LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Computer ratings, balloting by writers and coaches, and controversy all aside, the Rose Bowl remains traditional for 1999.

After all the details fell into place, the New Year's Day game in Pasadena features the same teams it would have anyway _ Pac-10 champion UCLA against Big Ten co-champion Wisconsin.

It will be a rematch of the 1994 Rose Bowl, when Wisconsin beat the Bruins 21-16. Barry Alvarez is still the Badgers' coach, but Bob Toledo has taken over for Terry Donahue at UCLA since then.

The sixth-ranked Bruins (10-1, 8-0) fell into the Rose Bowl this time by losing 49-45 to Miami on Saturday. A win would ...
