DENVER (AP) _ The Rocky Mountain News changed its name today to the Denver Rocky Mountain News.
Editor John Temple said the new name better reflects the morning newspaper's coverage.
``The mountains remain our landmark. But Denver has grown to match them,'' Temple said.
The Scripps-Howard newspaper is in a bitter war with The Denver Post, which is owned by MediaNews Inc. of Denver.
