(PHILADELPHIA) _ Vice President Al Gore is joining Governor Ridge and
Mayor Ed Rendell to break ground for the next phase of the Philadelphia
Navy Yard's life. The Norwegian shipbuilder, Kvaerner, is leasing part
of the yard for its first American facility. Gore also addressed the
annual convention of the Urban League during his visit to the city.
