Somehow, the Pittsburgh Pirates went home disbelieving losers after that scenario produced an improbable 4-3, 12-inning loss to Cincinnati on Sunday.

``I don't know how it happened, but it was great,'' Reds manager Jack McKeon said. ``We'll take it.''
