ODENTON, Md. (AP) _ In less than a year, Olaf Kolzig has gone from anonymous backup to starter for a team that's only four wins away from the Stanley Cup finals. Surely, this must be the pinnacle of his career to date.

Not so, says the Washington Capitals goalie. For Olie the Goalie, nothing beats winning it all.

``The best thing was winning the Calder Cup in the minors,'' said Kolzig, who helped Portland take the AHL's top trophy in 1994. ``That was a championship, and we're on our way to do that again here. To do the same thing in the NHL is the ultimate.''
