Voters in the Republic of Ireland will decide Friday on amendments to two articles of the Irish constitution.
Now, the articles claim Northern Ireland as part of the republic's territory. Amended, they would emphasize the right of Irish people to feel part of ``the Irish nation'' _ but unity would come only if a majority of Northern Ireland's residents want it.
