SEATTLE (AP) _ Mike Hargrove spent a lot of time thinking this winter. Too much time.

``The good Lord's blessed me that I don't dwell on things,'' the Cleveland Indians manager said Monday. ``But it was much more difficult letting this go.''

Tonight in the Kingdome, Hargrove and the Indians, who were two outs away from winning the World Series against the Florida Marlins last October, open a new season.

They'll go against the Seattle Mariners, a team coming back after the frustration of a first-round playoff loss to the Baltimore Orioles.
