LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Even without their center, the Portland Trail Blazers still own the Los Angeles Clippers.

Rasheed Wallace, filling in for the injured Arvydas Sabonis, scored six straight points late in the game as the Trail Blazers rallied to beat the Clippers 99-95 Thursday night.

The victory was Portland's seventh in a row over the Clippers, who haven't beaten the Trail Blazers in two years.

``They got to the free throw line, but fortunately for us, they missed some of their free throws and we shot out free throws well,'' Portland coach Mike Dunleavy said.
