NAGANO, Japan (AP) _ Only hours after being reinstated, Greg Mannino led an American gold rush in men's downhill skiing Sunday at the Winter Paralympic Games.

Mannino, a gold medalist in 1992 and 1994, was disqualified Saturday, along with four other team members, because their coach had entered five racers, two more than the limit per country.

The U.S. team appealed and an International Paralympic Committee jury reinstated the Americans Sunday, but the U.S. team had to limit its entries to three.

In addition to Manninno, of Vail, Colo., Chris Waddell of Granby, Mass., and John Davis of Vail also won gold in their respective classes.
