(AUGUSTA)-State Legislators have voted to suspend the patient
confidentiality law and Governor Angus King has signed their motion
effective immediately. In an unanimous vote in both the State Senate
and House, lawmakers voted to suspend the measure, which limits the
information that health care providers can release about patients. The
suspension will allow lawmakers time to review the law which came under
criticism for being too restrictive. Lawmakers have until October 1st
