(Daily O'Collegian) (U-WIRE) STILLWATER, Okla. -- Freshmen at Oklahoma State University are in for the long haul to finish their college degrees, according to recent graduation rates.
OSU's graduation rate increased from 49 percent for 1991-1992 freshmen to 55.5 percent for 1992-1993 freshmen.
The percentages were measured by OSU at a six-year rate.
The university will report the 6.5-percent increase to the NCAA in March, said Randall Dahl, associate vice president for academic affairs.
Dahl said this is the first time OSU's graduation rate is more than 50 percent.
