(Independent Florida Alligator) (U-WIRE) GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- As a 14 year old, Teddy Dupay sat and watched tapes of a gritty, undersized point guard in a Providence uniform who had a good jump shot, a workman-like style and a knack for getting things done on the basketball court.

Right next to Dupay was his high school coach encouraging him, saying, "That's the way you have to play. That's what your game has to be like."

The guy on the screen was UF coach Billy Donovan. The coach in Dupay's ear was Donovan's long-time acquaintance and current Gators administrative assistant Tim Maloney. And the kid in the chair had no idea that Donovan would end ...
