(The State News) (U-WIRE) EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Michigan State University baseball team's hot hitting from its 11-run ninth inning explosion Tuesday carried over to a 14-6 victory over Eastern Michigan Wednesday at Kobs Field.
The hitting continued to come from unsuspected places. Freshman third baseman Don Watchowski went five-for-five, drove in three runs and scored twice. It was his first career game at home and after playing the first 15 games on the road, Watchowski said Kobs Field was a nice change.
