Timberwolves sign James Robinson

MINNEAPOLIS, March 26 (UPI) _ With three guards on the injured list,
the Minnesota Timberwolves signed one of their former players Friday,
bringing James Robinson back onto the roster.

The Timberwolves also waived newly acquired forward Brian Evans.

Robinson, 28, spent the 1996-97 season with Minnesota, averaging 8.3
points and 1.8 assists in 69 games. He signed as a free agent with the
Los Angeles Clippers in August, 1997 and averaged 7.7 points over 70
games.
