TEN: Martin takes first straight sets win against Black

MELBOURNE, Jan 25 AAP - A well tuned serve rewarded 15th seed Todd Martin with his first
straight sets win of the Australian tennis Open at Melbourne Park.
The American veteran sent down 26 aces on his way to a 7-6 6-4 6-4 fourth round win over
Wayne Black of Zimbabwe.
Martin has engaged in heavy combat at the Open having been taken to five sets twice and
four sets once before defeating Black.
It took its toll during tonight's match when Martin called for treatment which was nothing
more sinister than a rub down.
