CRIK: New South Wales have the blues against the Bulls

BRISBANE, Feb 4 AAP - Queensland paceman Joe Dawes cut a swathe through the New South Wales
top order in the Sheffield Shield match here today, while Mark Taylor's first innings since
international retirement ended in misery.

Dawes took 3-2 in two overs to put a sudden halt to a reasonable start from the last-placed
Blues in difficult, rainy conditions.

It was rain that ultimately ended Dawes' assault when an early lunch was called with New
South Wales struggling at 4-44. Corey Richards was on seven and due to be joined by Geoff
