(OSU Daily Barometer) (U-WIRE) CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Two laptops were stolen from the Technical Assistance Desk at the Valley Library on Friday. The thefts marked the second time and third loss of a computer since the laptops were introduced for student check-out after spring break.

Originally, 20 laptops were bought to be available to students and faculty of Oregon State University. One was stolen before it had even gotten out of the box. With the recent thefts and only 17 laptops left, new measures are being taken to ensure that no more are stolen.
