NSW: Murder accused face Wagga Wagga court

WAGGA WAGGA, May 12 AAP - Two men accused of the stabbing murder of a 75-year-old widow
appeared in Wagga Wagga Local Court in southern New South Wales today.

Shane Antoni Symss, 21, and Leonard James Masson, also 21, are charged with murdering Wagga
Wagga resident Florence Hazel Marino late last month.

Mrs Marino was found dead by a neighbour in the loungeroom of her Mt Austin home at about
3.30pm on April 24, 1999.

A post mortem revealed she was stabbed and received facial and head injuries before being
suffocated, an earlier hearing at Broken Hill Local Court was told.
