VIC: Toilet seats for Harrods stolen
MELBOURNE, June 8 AAP - The theft of a shipment of decorative toilet seats from a Melbourne
toilet seat maker has sent the manufacturer and Harrods of London into a tizz.
The 150 seats, worth $A20,000, were stolen the day before they were to be sent to Harrods.
They are made of transparent resin and inside the resin can be seen designs such as sea
shells, fish, lollies, spiders and barbed wire.
Trend Toilet Seats partner, Charlie Crocker, said thieves broke into his business in
Tullamarine at the weekend and stole the seats, packed in cartons ready for dispatch.
