FED: Beazley questions government legal advice on Entsch

CANBERRA, June 10 AAP - The federal opposition today called into question advice from the
government's chief legal adviser clearing embattled Liberal frontbencher Warren Entsch of a
constitutional breach.

Opposition Leader Kim Beazley suggested Acting Solicitor-General Henry Burmester, QC, was
trying to please the government when he cleared Mr Entsch of any breach for having a financial
interest in a contract with the government.
