(The State News) (U-WIRE) EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Site plans and street closing schedules for the National Folk Festival were approved Tuesday by the East Lansing City Council.
The National Folk Festival is a large-scale, free, outdoor event that will be held from August 13-15 in downtown East Lansing.
The festival will feature five music stages, craft vendors, a children's activities area, storytellers, workshops, parades, street celebrations, dances and ethnic and regional food specialties.
Music stages will be located at the intersection of Abbott Road and Grand River Avenue, the intersection of M.A.C. and Albert avenues, in the City Hall parking ...
