For Chelle Johnson, director and owner of the Natomas Infant and Child Development Center, fostering a child's growth is more important than turning a substantial profit.

"When we graduate children from here to kindergarten, that's where we get our reward from," stated Ms. Johnson.

"It's more rewarding emotionally, as opposed to financially," she added.
