HONG KONG, Jun. 30 -- Two years after this former British colony
became part of China, there is a strong push from within the
government and academic circles to integrate Hong Kong's health
care system more closely with that of the mainland.
In China, both traditional and Western medicine are practiced
on an equal footing and every province has a Chinese medicine
hospital as well as a modern medicine training institution.
Now Hong Kong wants to adopt the Chinese health care model and
