Patti Austin takes her rightful place "In & Out of Love." showcases her silky style
In the ongoing debate over the top R&B/Pop divas, inevitably, the same two names are mentioned; Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. I'll venture a guess that one name is never mentioned, when actually, in my opinion, she should be at the top of the list. That name is Patti Austin.
Do you know what Austin's problem is? She makes it look too easy. There is no screaming, yelling and emoting from this silky smooth artist, who happens to be the goddaughter of Quincy Jones and Dinah Washington.
