Although the advantages of becoming a Permanent Resident of the united States are well known, the responsibilities of Permanent Resident status are often forgotten. For many people, United States Permanent Residence is a goal they work long and hard to achieve. They know that once they become Permanent Residents they can remain in the United States indefinitely, change jobs as often as they like, and travel abroad with the knowledge that they will be re-admitted to the United States.
