Delaware County Hones in on Most Pressing Needs

Delaware County residents and clergy told officials from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia at a recent town meeting in no uncertain terms what they want -- a community gathering place, youth programs, more adult-education classes and basketball courts.
And the Federation responded by saying it absolutely supports these types of endeavors when communities take the initiative, according to executive vice president Howard E. Charish.
