NBA All-Star Game in danger: City might miss chance to host event due to lockout

If the NBA lockout is not settled within the next month, Philadelphia basketball fans and the city could lose more than a basketball season. They could lose the prestigious NBA All-Star Game, scheduled for Feb. 14, 1999.

The lockout between the players and the owners is now in its 134th day. The first six weeks of the season have already been canceled. Futhermore, there's no telling when Philadelphia will have an opportunity to host another NBA All-Star Game.
