Shoshone-Bannock told "Don't drink water": Fort Hall reservation. declared emergency zone by Governor

Tribal leaders declared a state of emergency here Feb. 18th after the Environmental Protection Agency disclosed that local drinking water is contaminated with a cancer-causing pesticide and Nitrates.

Ft. Hall Agency and townsite residents were told by EPA officials not to drink or cook with the water and to avoid skin contact through showers or baths.
