HAWTHORNE -- A borough woman who left her infant son inside a locked car with the
windows closed on a 90-degree day was arrested for endangering the
welfare of a child, police said Thursday.

Fatima Sulejmani, 24, of Warburton Avenue left her 18-month-old son
sleeping in his car seat when she went shopping Saturday at a strip mall
on Wagaraw Road, said police Lt. Martin Boyd.

Another shopper saw the infant inside the car and called 911. A
