SWIM: Pankratov hit by allergy attack
MOSCOW, July 21 Reuters - Olympic butterfly champion Denis Pankratov plans to race in the
European swimming championships despite suffering breathing difficulties caused by an allergy
attack.
Pankratov, who completed the 100 and 200 metres double at the 1996 Atlanta Games, went into
hospital in his home city of Volgograd on Tuesday.
"The doctors were afraid to give him medication because some of the drugs could be on a
