"Young Man, Older Woman".
"I'm a Black people's artist," says Millie Jackson proudly as she talks about her most recent musical comedy "Young Man, Older Woman."
The production comes to Indianapolis beginning Wednesday, Jan. 12 at the Murat Temple.
Not only is Jackson starring in the production, but she also co-wrote and produced many of the songs in the play with national recording artist Douglas Knyght.
Along with the musical comedy, there is an album track "Young Man, Older Woman" on Ichiban Records.
The 18-song album is a musical journey about a woman who experiences the joys and traumas of a relationship.
