Lift Sanctions On Cuba.
President Bill Clinton made the correct decision last week when he lifted sanctions on the Republic of Vietnam imposing normal relations between it and the United States.
The sanctions were imposed following the end of th U.S. intervention in the civil war that began when North Vietnam made an armed attempt to end the Friction of two separate Vietnams that came into being when France was driven out of the country. Both North and South had been colonies of the French empire. Following the defeat of France, separation came into being at the peace conference.
