'Shock Jock' rings in our history month.

Early Tuesday morning the phone lines at the Washington AFRO offices lit up with readers calling in their criticism of a program on the radio.

"The D.J. is playing a song called 'My wife ran off with a ni**er' over and over again and asking listeners to call in with words that rhyme with ni**er," complained one caller.

Who would have the gall to insult a substantial portion of the population on the first day of a month set aside to glorify their triumphs? Howard Stern, that's who.
