There is a question that concerned North Jerseyans have been asking
themselves for the last 50 years:
What has Paterson got?
Certainly the city is one of a kind. It is busy, even bustling at
times. You never know what you're about to see when you turn a corner in
Paterson, and variety is part of its charm.
Not necessarily to outsiders, though. Charm is a consequence of
mood and point of view, and most North Jerseyans are intimidated by, or
at least indifferent to, Paterson's "charms." ...
