I read "Hello Columbus" (April 26) with great interest. This
sculpture is a waste of space which could be otherwise reserved for
children and other growing things. Why do the police need to monitor a
sculpture: Are they afraid children will play on it and possibly hurt
themselves, is it really worth stealing, or do they want to monitor the
protest activity at the statue?
On the west lawn of the Bergen County Courthouse, two memorial
