Men and women who took classes in safe sex and HIV prevention cut
their high-risk behavior in half, doubled their use of condoms, and
greatly reduced their chances of contracting AIDS, according to a
national study by a Rutgers University psychologist and other
researchers.

With no vaccine in sight for HIV -- the virus that causes AIDS --
behavior modification "is certainly the only weapon we have to prevent
