TRENTON -- Hoping to find a solution to the state's stubbornly high rate of
black infant deaths, the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior
Services on Wednesday appointed a blue-ribbon panel to examine the
problem.
The 31-member commission -- made up of community members, health
experts, and social service representatives -- will look at why blacks in
New Jersey died during infancy at nearly three times ...
