With another super year of striper fishing in our region widely
anticipated, now would be a great time to get started in saltwater
fly-rodding, still the fastest-growing segment of the sport of
fly-fishing.
Before getting into specifics, I'd like to dispel a couple of myths
about fly-fishing in saltwater: It takes expensive tackle and equipment,
and, to be successful, you must be able to cast like Lefty Kreh or Joan
Wulff.
