I must take issue with some comments that were contained in an
article titled "First lesson at Catholic schools is sacrifice" (Jan.
27). I do not object to the Catholic schools promoting themselves as an
alternative to public schools for families seeking a religious learning
environment and educational program. What I do object to are some
comments made by a Wanaque resident, Lynne Biss, who is sending her two
daughters to St. Francis of Assisi School in Wanaque.
