The Food Emporium, the upscale division of the A&P supermarket
chain, is coming to New Jersey for the first time after 18 years of
operating exclusively on the east side of the Hudson River.
On Saturday, the Bronx-based chain will open its 34th and largest
store (58,000 square feet) at 2160 Lemoine Ave. in Fort Lee. The new
building is on the site of a former A&P supermarket.
