SUMMER CAMPERS HERE DON'T SING AROUND A CAMPFIRE, and you won't find any televisions, radios or video games, not even a time slot for personal amusement. At the Gandhi Youth Camp in California, where the mantra is "work is worship," youth aged 10-19 do karma yoga (physical labor). They learn about unity, tolerance, nonviolence, respect and self discipline from Subba Rao, the camp's spiritual advisor who personally worked with Mahatma Gandhi in the 1940s.
