John Cuccio, the Hawthorne truck driver accused of the vigilante
shooting of a teenage boy during the summer, was indicted Thursday on a
murder charge and multiple weapons offenses.
Cuccio, 33, has said that when he fired his unregistered
.45-caliber Glock handgun, he was trying to scare off teens he believed
were car thieves on the night of June 18.
