Cable-TV viewers in parts of southern Bergen County and western
Hudson County will have access to 175 channels as Comcast extends its
digital upgrade next month.

Comcast is the first Cable-TV provider to offer digital service in
New Jersey. Cablevision, which serves large parts of North Jersey, said
it has upgraded portions of its cable but could not specify when it
planned to introduce digital service.
