Often when a politician is caught saying something unbecoming, it's
a case that can be forgiven with a wave of the hand and the comment,
"Oh, you know what he meant."
But here we have the exact opposite. What the heck did Newt
Gingrich mean when he said that women were ill-suited for trench warfare
because they are prone to infection?
Does he know something about women that we don't?
