Ralph De Marco's business has been cut to the bone.
The Wayne butcher estimates that sales are down "a good 30
percent" since the late 1980s, trimmed away by DINCs -- dual-income
non-cookers.
"I think the main thing is, people just don't cook like they used
to," said De Marco, the owner of the Aldon Meat Market.
"Wives work, husbands work," he said. "So they pick up a little
pizza here, Chinese one night.
