Indian Minister Woos S. Africans.
Tourism Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad launched an impressive road show here last week to promote tourism in India.
Azad, along with his entourage of officials, tour operators and hoteliers, made presentations on India, met local travel agents and visited tourist sites to get ideas for back home.
He also held parties and gave away many free tickets to India in an aggressive marketing blitz launched by his ministry as part of its national action plan to reach Rs. 10 billion ($323 million) a year in tourism turnover target by 1997. Third Stop
